Overview

We're building our Backend Engineering team and looking for a Backend Engineer to help us take on real client and product work.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build backend services, APIs, and data models for client and product systems.
  • Own reliability, performance, and correctness of the services you build.
  • Write and maintain automated tests for backend logic.
  • Work with the team to design database schemas and integrations.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience delivering work independently in a similar role.
  • Comfortable owning a piece of work end to end with minimal supervision.
  • A track record of solving real problems, not just following a spec.

Skills

  • PHP
  • Laravel
  • MySQL
  • REST APIs

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in a consulting or client-services environment.
  • Experience working with distributed or remote teams.
